'The cloud' allows digital software and services to run on the internet, rather than locally on your electronic device. Digital software is usually operated through a Web Browser, such as Google Chrome. The main concept is that the data held on the cloud is stored and hosted remotely within its own section of the internet, ready to be retrieved at any time, from anywhere.
